Transparency information for AI services used by the ToAll application
ToAll is a desktop application developed at Brigham Young University that enables real-time and offline translation of video content.
AI Transparency Disclosure
ToAll uses a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) model and may integrate with third-party AI providers selected by the user. ToAll does not provide its own foundation model, speech model, or text-to-speech credentials.
Current third-party AI providers supported by ToAll
- Microsoft Azure — used for automatic speech recognition (ASR), translation, and some text-to-speech functionality
- ElevenLabs — used for some text-to-speech functionality
- OpenAI — used for optional large language model (LLM) features
- Anthropic — used for optional large language model (LLM) features
How this works
Users choose which providers to use and supply their own API keys. Depending on the features selected, user-provided content such as audio, video, text, scripts, or related metadata may be transmitted to the selected third-party provider in order to perform transcription, translation, dubbing, or language-model-assisted processing.
Important note
Use of third-party AI providers is governed by the terms, privacy policies, and availability of those providers. ToAll does not control how third-party providers handle data once it is transmitted to them by the user’s chosen configuration.
